Greater Easley Chamber of Commerce

In November 2020, the Greater Easley Chamber of Commerce proudly launched the Downtown Easley Business Council (DEBC) to provide support to businesses located in the TIF District of downtown.  Our DEBC is led by a group of six Advisory Board member, and each year, the Advisory Board honors one of its members who has led by example and has kept others motivated & engaged in the downtown district. 

Our DEBC completed its first full year of service in 2021.  During 2021, Dr. Lori Carnsew with Verity Primary Medicine & Lifestyle served as Chair of the Advisory Board and led the group through that initial, critical year.   Not only was it important for the new Advisory Board to bond as a leadership team, but it was equally important to communicate our message & goals with all downtown businesses.  As Chair, she was energetic, excited, and persuasive.  She always shared a positive attitude and team approach, and she constantly kept the group on task and focused on our mission.

But Lori’s continued steady leadership in 2022 as Past Chair helped grow participation in our downtown business meetings and guided our success in securing Accommodations Tax funding to implement a new business development project for downtown businesses.  Thanks to Lori’s commitment, she has helped build a strong foundation that our DEBC will continue to stand on for many years to come.
