TCBPW 62nd Annual Awards Celebration

The Tri-County Business and Professional Women’s Club of Easley celebrated its 62nd Annual Awards Celebration on Thursday, March 24 at Silver Bay in Easley. The event celebrated the women who have made a significant impact in the workforce, community, and lives of the people they work with. Those honored were Tri-County Career Woman of the Year, Woman of Accomplishment, and Young Careerist. Additionally honored were six scholarship recipients.

Sherri Dunlap was honored as the Career Woman of the Year for her accomplishments and efforts to run her businesses and help other women to move forward. She is the owner of All About You Boutique in Central and co-owner of Upstate Hair Salon and Nails. She is a wife and mother to two sons.

Julia Schaefer was honored as the Woman of Accomplishment for her accomplishments and efforts in community leadership. She works at Ripple of One as the Pickens County Mentor Care Manager at the location on Hillcrest Drive, Easley. Ripple of One’s mission is to empower families to move beyond public assistance and into their full God-Given potential so that they thrive. She also raised two wonderful daughters as a single mother.

Dr. Alexandra Tarvin was honored as the Young Careerist of the Year for her accomplishments and success as a businesswoman, a community leader, and a mother, all before the age of 35. She owns her own business, Elevate Audiology Hearing & Tinnitus Center on Powdersville Road, Easley. She volunteers pro-bono at Samaritan Health Clinic- Free Clinic of Pickens County and is a wife and mother to a beautiful 2-year-old.

These three Tri-County BPW Award recipients will compete at The South Carolina Federation of Business and Professional Women’s Clubs Conference in Greenwood on April 23, 2022, for the state title of each Award.

The BPW/SC Scholarship recipients are Hope Albanese-Hill, Katelyn Burgess, Riley Rutland, Alyssa Wallace, and Cassidy Dickson. These scholarships are awarded to aid them in their journey of furthering their education and trade.
