Amanda McGinty Honored as Young Professional of the Year

Presented by the Greater Easley Chamber of Commerce, the Young Professional of the Year Award recognizes and honors an emerging leader who strives to meet the highest levels of personal and professional accomplishment, who devotes time and energy to their community, and who serves as a role model for other young leaders and professionals.

On November 12, the Greater Easley Chamber of Commerce was pleased to honor Amanda McGinty as its 2021 Young Professional of the Year.

At the age of 31, Amanda McGinty became a business owner.  As a State Farm Insurance agent, she is ranked in the Top 100 Agents in her market division.  In addition to supporting our chamber programs, Amanda is an avid supporter of the Powdersville High School Athletic Booster Club, helps organize book drives for United Way, organizes the annual Teacher Cakes program for all Wren and Powdersville schools, and helps sponsor fundraising events for local non-profits.  She is a graduate of Leadership Pickens County Class 30, an active member of NewSpring Church, and board member of her neighborhood HOA.

Amanda also shares her experience and expertise by serving in the State Farm Aspirant program where she mentors team members of other State Farm offices who may aspire to open their own agency one day.  Her mentorship helps improve their overall performance and leadership skills.
