Greater Easley Chamber of Commerce

As part of the Greater Easley Chamber of Commerce Annual Meeting and Awards Celebration on November 12, the chamber honored Todd Walker with Prisma Health-Baptist Easley Hospital as its 2020 Director of the Year.

Each year, by secret ballot, the Greater Easley Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors selects a Director of the Year.  This honor recognizes a Board member who has gone above and beyond the call of duty...someone who leads by example…someone who has kept others on course and motivated.

During 2020, COVID-19 created a uniquely challenging year for our chamber.  And your Chamber Board of Directors rose to the occasion.  In addition to the uncertainty COVID created for our day-to-day business operations, we also had an obligation to understand and respond to the overarching healthcare crisis.  Mr. Walker consistently delivered on that front.  Due to his role in the healthcare sector, he offered sound advice to guide our decisions on programs and communications.

His fellow board members shared, “Todd has done a great job in leading our chamber and community through the pandemic and vaccination efforts with his role at Prisma.  His leadership has been critical for the hospital, chamber, and the community during 2020 and beyond.  Todd leads by example and with great commitment.”
