Chamber Programs

The Greater Easley Chamber of Commerce offers many programs and events that afford its members the opportunity for marketing visibility, community recognition, and identification with one of your local Chamber. Attending and sponsoring our events are a win-win for the Chamber and the member business. Sponsoring our various event and programs is a highly visible form of marketing that offers the opportunity to prominently place your business in front of key decision makers. Understanding your objectives is an important step in this process and crafting a plan based on those objectives is our priority.

Annual Meeting Dinner 

When: Annually in mid-March 
What: Celebrates our chamber accomplishments and recognizes volunteer leadership.  In addition, honors our annual Small Business Award recipients (see below), as well as the Annual Duke Energy Citizenship & Service Award recipient.  

Annual Spring Golf Tournament 

When: Annually in early May at Smithfields Country Club
What: This highly visible annual event is a beneficial resource to promote your business, forge business relationships and promote your brand awareness. Offers a relaxing and fun networking, along with sponsorship opportunities.

Ambassadors Committee

When: Monthly on the 2nd Wednesday at 8:30 AM 
What: The Chamber’s team of dedicated Ambassadors has made a commitment to help other members get involved in Chamber events and programs. The committee mentors new members, serves as a resource of information, helps retain existing members, and encourages participation. In addition, serving as an Ambassador helps increase the visibility of your own business.  The committee also provides volunteer support at various Chamber events and activities throughout the year.

Business Before or After Hours

When: As requested by a sponsoring member, typically on a Tuesday or Thursday 
What: Offers a monthly networking opportunity in a relaxed social setting.

Easley Business Luncheons

When: Every Other Month on the 3rd Thursday at 11:45 AM at South & West Event Venue
What: A luncheon that offers monthly networking with an informative guest speaker.

Friday Focus Small Business Workshops

When: Quarterly at 8:30 AM
What: Provides informative workshops to develop new business skills and support small business growth & development.

JumpStart Membership Receptions

When: Quarterly at 8:30 AM 
What: These social receptions present an opportunity for new and existing members to learn more about our programs & services in order to take full advantage of your Chamber membership. In addition, the event offers business networking and the chance to meet our Ambassadors and fellow members in a fun atmosphere.

Leadership Pickens County

When: Annually in August – May
What: Leadership Pickens County, sponsored by the Clemson, Easley and Pickens chambers of commerce, serves to organize and implement a framework of experiences for emerging community leaders to become better informed and more actively involved in the decision-making processes of their communities. Through participant involvement in the community endeavors of Leadership Pickens, members will be equipped with the skills and information to contribute to the betterment of their communities in Pickens County.

Powdersville Business Luncheons

When: Every Other Month on the 4th Thursday at 11:45 AM at the Powdersville Library
What: Offers business networking with an informative guest speaker.

Powdersville Fall Golf Tournament

When: Annually in late September at Southern Oaks Golf Course
What: This fun envet is a beneficial resource to promote your business, forge business relationships and promote your brand awareness. Revenue generated from this event not only contributes to support important Chamber programs and services but also enables the Chamber to continue its role as a community leader to foster a vibrant and prosperous region.

Small Business Awards

When: Annually in conjunction with pur Annual Meeting Dinner 
What: Celebrates the spirit of small business byr recognizing a Small Business of the Year, Non-Profit of the Year, Young Professional of the Year, and Pillar of Easley.

State of the Economy Luncheon

When: Annually in late January
What: A luncheon featuring a keynote speaker to provide a forecast of our state and national economy for the coming year.

YP-E3 Academy 

When: Every other Year in January - May
What: A five-month leadership development program for local young professionals (age 22-40).  Each monthly half-day session features community leaders to discuss topics and opportunities for engagement, which is intended to EDUCATE and EMPOWER our young professionals to EMERGE as our community's newest leaders. 

YP-EP (Young Professionals - Easley & Powdersville) 

When: Various activities throughout the year
What: Our Young Professionals program (age 22-40) hosts opportunities for our local young professionals in both Easley and Powdersville to get to know each other, while growing their own personal & professional network.  Several YP Socials are offered each year in an fun, relaxed after hours setting.  In addition, an Annual Lunch & Learn event highlights a current community issue and offers next steps for active engagment by our young professionals.
