Our mission is simple: to provide holistic support to abused and neglected children and court appointed volunteers for the Pickens County Guardian ad Litem program, encompassing volunteer-centric events and community awareness. All Proceeds from the evening will go directly to funding the Friends of Pickens County Guardian ad Litem programs. Programs funded include annual Heart & Sole Back to School Shopping, new clothes closet for children coming in to placement, annual Children Spring Fling, and numerous other requests for the children. "The number of children that are eligible to receive back to school clothing increased over 60% in the past two years, resulting in potential expenditures of the programs being over $25,000" – said Chairperson Tammy Clark. Your patronage makes these worthy outreach programs possible.
The Friends of Pickens County Guardian ad Litem Program is a 501c3 all-volunteer charitable organization that has been serving children since 2002.
