2010-2011 Easley Living magazines distributes in September

The Easley Chamber of Commerce’s 2010-2011 Easley Living magazines is in process of delivery to all chamber members, the Cherokee Foothills Visitors’ Center, and the three upstate South Carolina Visitors’ Centers on I85 and I26. We will hand deliver as many as possible in September with the help of directors and ambassadors and the chamber staff.

This magazine is a great reference book for Easley and Pickens County newcomers and visitors with articles about the community and key telephone numbers. It also lists the chamber of commerce business both alphabetically and by business category.

New this year are articles about the business of the year YMCA, Easley striving to be a bicycle friendly community, Baptist Easley Hospital and the national awards it has received and Tri County Technical College new campus in Easley/Powdersville. Additionally, there is an article on the Pickens County Industrial Park and spotlighting Tri Tech USA move and startup in the Park.

It gives a history of Easley along with a listing of all the public and private schools, many of the churches, and most of the real estate and apartment complexes. It will have a section on the Powdersville community and the growth and enthusiasm that is happening there.

“We want to continuously improve our chamber book and Pete Martin and his staff at the Greenville News Gannett publishing did a good job. Our objective was to have a one stop, colorful and entertaining reference book for residents and newcomers to the Easley and Powdersville area.” Stated Kent Dykes of the Easley Chamber. “We have met this objective with the 2010 – 2011 Easley Living.”

If you would like one of the new magazines, come by the Easley Chamber of Commerce at 2001 East Main Street to get you free copy.
