With twenty two (22) teams and ten (10) business expo hole sponsors the 18th annual Easley Chamber Golf tournament at Smithfields Country Club was an enjoyable event again.
The tournament was presented by Great Clips. Outback Steakhouse provided the lunch for the players and Applebee’s grilled steaks for the dinner. All meals and awards presentation were held under a large tent at the driving range of Smithfields.
It was chamber of commerce weather with pleasant temperatures and forecasted rain which arrived one hour after all had completed and left for home.
Each team had their photograph taken with Miss South Carolina- Desiree Puglia, Miss Easley-Brooke Eaves, and Miss Easley Teen-Bailey Vinson.
New this year was the high school challenge. Two boys and two girls each from the Easley High School golf team and the Wren High School golf team completed against each other for the Easley Chamber school trophy and bragging rights to hopefully an annual event.
