2010 Easley Christmas Parade

In the aftermath of a storm, which came bearing a tornado that did sizable damage to downtown Easley, the City continued with its plans to carry out its annual tree lighting ceremony and annual Christmas parade.  Both events were heartwarming successes.  They bore testimony to a city filled with people with transcendent faith and optimism to continue celebrating the “Sounds of the Season” and City leaders determined to not let an outburst of weather dampen the spirits of her citizens.

Here are some great parade photos taken by a local resident, Angela Carol Baker.   She also wrote a touching blog article about the Easley Parade.

Angela Carol Baker’s articles have been published by the Pickens Sentinel and also on her blog.  Her photography is used with permission.
