The Easley Campus of TriCounty Tech opened its community events room for the first public showing of the new 38 acre campus to the Easley Chamber of Commerce November 19th luncheon eighty (80) attendees.
Location director Dr. Brian Swords gave a PowerPoint presentation with a virtual tour of the facility. Dr. Swords gave a time line of the construction from September 2009 until December 2010 of the 42000’ sq. main building and the QuickJobs Training Center. Emphasis was given to the current Powdersville Road construction in front of the campus and its efforts to make it safe. Attendees were offered an open tour of the building at the conclusion of the presentation.
January 10, 2011 the Easley campus will begin the first day of classes for students. Credit programs will be offered in:
- Health Education including an LPN Associate Degree*
- Industrial Engineering Technology
- Business and Public Services
- University Transfer credits
- Various continuing Education programs

* – The LPN and Associate Degree Nursing courses will start in the Fall of 2011 (August 2011), all other courses will start in January of 2011
