The Greater Easley Chamber of Commerce held its 3rd Thursday Luncheon October 21, 2010, at DunBurks Premier Events located in downtown Easley. Marketing expert Jay Handler was the guest speaker. Jay spoke on the importance of social media in marketing a product or a business. Social media includes all the web based programs such as Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin, YouTube, etc. Jay said, “All businesses want customers. Social media is all about building engagement with others.”
Next months’ luncheon will be a joint meeting of the Easley Chamber & Powdersville Business Council on Friday, November 19 at Tri-County Technical College’s new Easley campus, 1774 Powdersville Road, Easley. The speaker will be Dr. Brian Swords, Site Director for the Easley Campus.
