Southern Oaks Golf Club was the site of the 2nd Annual Powdersville Business Council Golf Tournament on September 30. The Powdersville Business Council is part of the Easley Chamber of Commerce.

With sixteen (16) teams playing, it surpassed last year’s tournament. One of the special features of the tournament was the participation of players from the Southern Wesleyan University golf team who would sell long drives on a par 5 for teams to use for their play.
