April 2010 Powdersville Council Luncheon

Glenn Brill, Director of Anderson County Parks, Recreation & Tourism

The Powdersville Council of the Greater Easley Chamber of Commerce held their monthly April luncheon on Thursday, April 22, 2010, at the Powdersville Library. Glenn Brill, new Director of the Anderson County Parks, Recreation & Tourism, was the speaker. “Tourism-Why is it important?” asked Mr. Brill. Ten Billion Dollars was spent by the state on tourism to bring people and revenue into South Carolina. In Anderson County, 13,000 jobs are connected with Parks, Recreation & Tourism.

The Powdersville Council Luncheon next month is May 27 at the Powdersville Library with Captain Hill of the Anderson County Sheriff’s Department speaking.
