Maegan Garner, the newly selected Miss Easley for 2010, toured the Easley Chamber of Commerce and learned the functions of the chamber and of the visitors’ center. Fran Cape, Operations Manager, reviewed the annual calendar and highlighted chamber and city events that Meagan could contribute. “As her schedule permits, she will attend monthly Easley Chamber Luncheons, Business after Hours, Annual Golf Tournament May 4, 2010, Big League Baseball World Series, ribbon cuttings of new businesses, and Business of the Month recognitions,” stated Kent Dykes, President of the Easley Chamber.
Maegan Garner is a resident of Easley and is a Nursing student at Greenville Tech. Her platform is “Dealing with the hand you have been dealt.” She is the daughter of Mark and Roni Garner.
“I am excited about being Miss Easley and want to get involved quickly in the community and in the Chamber of Commerce.” stated Maegan.
