The Mad Hatter
The Mad Hatter Opens in Downtown Easley
The Mad Hatter, located at 109 W. Main St. in Easley, is owned by Alayne Gilbert and her two daughters Veronica and Amanda, with the help of their super staff, Emily, Colleen and Sarah. The Mad Hatter is a great place for birthday parties. Alayne has also placed a bookcase with several books to start a “Book Swap”. So anyone interested in bringing a book may take a book. And there is free WI-FI.
The Mad Hatter offers it’s customers a special ice cream experience. Start by choosing from delicious Mayfield vanilla or chocolate ice cream or frozen yogurt and mix in your choice of over 36 different ingredients. Ingredients include a variety of nuts, candies, and fruits. The Mad Hatter’s waffle cones or bowls are made fresh right in the store. Have one of their wonderfully thick milkshakes topped with whipped cream! There’s none better. The Mad Hatter carries West End Coffee and there are always at least two different brewed coffees to choose from as well as a wide selection of espresso drinks. Mochas, Lattes, and Cappuccinos are just some of the great drinks that are served. Try the fresh fruit smoothies for an alternative to coffee. Along with the coffee and ice cream, The Mad Hatter also serves lunch. The lunch includes your choice of sandwiches and chips for only $5.00.All the pastries are homemade and baked fresh. Almond cake, caramel-cocoa squares, conga bars, toll house pie, coconut cream pie, and turtle pie are rotated to ensure freshness. Open until 10pm everyday!
