The Powdersville Council of the Greater Easley Chamber of Commerce met on Thursday, October 22, 2009, at the Powdersville Library in Powdersville. The speaker for the luncheon was Mason Ailstock, Assistant Director for the CUICAR. The CUICAR is a true university research campus located in Greenville that bridges the gap between university and industry. Currently the 650 employees of the campus provide a real economic impact on the upstate.
Powdersville Council’s next luncheon will be held in January 2010.
