October 2009 3rd Thursday Luncheon, Speaker – Dr. Henry Hunt
The Greater Easley Chamber of Commerce held the 3rd Thursday Luncheon meeting on October 15, 2009 at the Kimberly Hampton Memorial Library. The Taste of Distinction served a delicious lunch to a near capacity crowd of chamber members. The speaker for the luncheon was Dr. Henry Hunt, Superintendent of the School District of Pickens County. Some of the topics Dr. Hunt talked about were the School District’s Goals, Strengths, $315 million Building Program & scheduled occupancy, Health, Safety, Security and Technology Upgrades & Renovations. A question & answer period followed.
The next 3rd Thursday Luncheon will be held November 19 at the Library with speaker Dr. Scott Baier, economist and Clemson professor.
