The Powdersville Council of the Easley Chamber of Commerce met on Thursday, September 24, 2009, at noon at the Powdersville Library. Michael Panasko, President of Innovate Anderson, was the guest speaker. “Innovate Anderson is a non profit public/private entity that drives recruitment of new businesses to Anderson County,” stated Mr. Panasko. He shared with the group the master plan of the Advanced Materials Center, Innovate Anderson’s new industrial park in Anderson County.
Next month’s meeting will be held at the Powdersville Library on October 22. The speaker with be John Boyette, Exec. Director of Clemson ICAR.
