September 2009 3rd Thursday Luncheon, Held at Dunburks Premier Events
The Easley Chamber of Commerce held the 3rd Thursday Luncheon meeting September 17, 2009, at Dunburks Premier Events in downtown Easley. Speaker for the event was State Senator Larry Martin, who has served as a senator from Pickens County since 1992 and in the SC House of Representatives from 1978-1992. Senator Martin discussed current issues affecting our county and our state. A question and answer period followed.
Next month’s 3rd Thursday Luncheon will be held October 15 at the Kimberly Hampton Library. The Superintendent of the School District of Pickens County, Dr. Henry Hunt, will be the guest speaker.
