Small Business Workshop, Sponsored by Easley Chamber

Ben Smith, area manager with Clemson University’s Small Business Development Center, presented a workshop entitled “Small Business & the Perfect Storm” on Wednesday, March 18, 2009, at the Kimberly Hampton Library in Easley. The Easley Chamber of Commerce sponsored the workshop with assistance by the Small Business Administration. At the conclusion of the workshop, Anna Huntley from the U.S. Small Business Administration spoke to the group about the provisions of the Recovery Act that was just passed by the Obama administration that will facilitate the ability of lenders to make new loans to small businesses.
