Small Business and the Perfect Storm
The Clemson University Small Business Development Center’s “Small Business and the Perfect Storm: A workshop on managing a small business in today’s turbulent climate” will debut in Easley, South Carolina on 9:00 AM, Wednesday, March 18th, 2009
This professional development program is designed specifically for small business owners by Clemson University’s Small Business Development Center. A representative from the United States Small Business Administration out of Columbia will also speak to the group. The Easley Chamber of Commerce requested the workshop to aid its many small business members. Additional information is available by calling (864) 859-2693 by March 16. Seating is limited to 60.
While the entrepreneurial spirit of the American small business person has historically allowed them to emerge stronger than ever from the winds of challenge, today’s economic climate may prove a more than worthy adversary for this champion of the American way. Small business owners and managers may need to work smarter (if not harder) than ever if they want to weather this particular economic storm. This half day workshop is designed to provide suggestions for pressing tactical issues while allowing for comprehensive guidance for strategic decisions driven in large part by the economic uncertainty of today
