The Greater Easley Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors has chosen Palmetto Health Baptist Easley as Business of the Month for November. Palmetto Health Baptist Easley has been a member of the Easley Chamber since 1970 and is the largest employer in Pickens County. They were recently recognized by Modern Healthcare magazine as one of the Top 100 places to work in America.
Palmetto Health Baptist Easley was awarded the 2008 SC Governor’s Quality Award – Silver Achiever. The hospital also scored above the 90th percentile for Patient Satisfaction for Inpatient Services, Outpatient Surgery, Outpatient Services and Emergency Department Services. Employee satisfaction is at the 96th percentile and physician satisfaction is at the 99th percentile. In December, the hospital will officially be awarded the 2009 HealthGrades Outstanding Patient Experience Award.
