Mike Bass and Kathy Hobgood-Bass, owners of Avalon Bodyworks, have a passion for therapeutic massage and bodywork and want to share it with Easley and the surrounding community. “We offer our clients a variety of therapeutic bodywork options, with sessions tailored to meet each individual’s current need. Our therapies are by appointment only, but we are flexible enough to fit most anyone’s schedule”.

Together, Mike and Kathy have over 15 years experience as clinical bodyworkers and massage therapy instructors. They specialize in deep tissue massage and structural bodywork to alleviate the stresses of daily life, including pain syndromes related to illness or injury, chronic headaches, neck, shoulder and back problems, and postural or biomechanical dysfunctions.

Avalon employs three additional professional therapists: Laura Gilstrap, Regina Overby and Chelsea McCormick. They each concentrate on different aspects of therapeutic massage and bodywork. Details are available on Avalon’s website.

Avalon is committed to helping people who experience muscular discomfort, chronic pain, or limitations in daily activity, hence their byline …. “Real Results for Real People”. The therapists volunteer their time and expertise to numerous community benefits. Check the website calendar to see where you can find them next.
