The Powdersville Council of the Greater Easley Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting ceremony for the newly completed expansion at Powdersville Self Storage, 11411 Anderson Road in Powdersville on Thursday, June 5, 2008. Powdersville Self Storage, a full service storage facility has just completed phase one of its planned expansions. The new building is 7,500 square feet and consist of both climate controlled units and conventional storage.

Co-manager Sophrona Chapman said that when doing a survey of local businesses about what they needed in our local area, a number of things stood out. Wider doors, lights and power in each unit, and wider interior isles are some of the new amenities. “All of these improvements were added during the planning stages with the goal of attracting local business,” said Co-manager David Catlin. Another Co-manager, Gina Sayegh says the response has been extremely positive. Accepting small package deliveries is a big plus for our clients she added. “Over 50% of the units were rented within the first two weeks of opening, “ she said.

“We are proud to have been voted ‘Best in the Upstate’ for 2007,” Sophrona said. Office hours are Monday – Friday 9:00 to 5:00 and Saturday 9:00 to 2:00 (864) 220-1898. Customers have access to their units 24/7 through an entry gate using a keypad with individual codes.
