With funding from Pickens County, publishing by Martin printing, and a collaborative effort from the Easley, Clemson, Pickens, and Liberty Chambers of Commerce, the new Tour Pickens County magazine has been completed and is in the process of distribution. It is the magazine to showcase all the things for visitors, relocaters, and residents to do in Pickens County.

The initial distribution includes shipment to all nine (9) Visitors Centers coming into South Carolina, Cherokee Foothills Visitors Center, Heritage Corridor, Pendleton District Tourism Commission, S.C. Parks, Recreation, and Tourism headquarters in Columbia, Upstate Discovery, Anderson Convention and Tourism, Greenville Convention and Tourism, Alliance Pickens County, Pickens County Museum, Duke Energy Nuclear Visitors Center, Easley hotels and banks as well as all chambers of commerce and visitors centers in the county.

“We are proud of the results of the revised tourism guide to the county,” stated Kent Dykes, President of the Easley Chamber. “It is a publication that will be available at no cost to visitors to our beautiful county. Residents can also come in the chamber of commerce and pick one up to learn more of what we have to offer in Pickens County.”
