Leadership Pickens County had its State Government session on April 15-16 in Columbia. The leadership group met with Governor Sanford, Lt. Governor Bauer, the Pickens County delegation of Senator Martin, Senator Alexander, Representatives Owens, Rice, Skelton, and Hiott. They visited the SC house and senate while in session and also attended a working committee meeting lead by Representative Rex Rice. Leadership Pickens County members were given a private tour of the capitol building as well as the governor’s mansion.
