CPM Federal Credit Union Breaks Ground for Easley Branch

During a recent Groundbreaking Ceremony, CPM Federal Credit Union unveiled their newest location and presence in the Easley community. This will be 6th branch located in the upstate and the 12th location in the state of South Carolina. By opening a 6th location in the upstate, CPM Federal will be able to provide the Easley area with a more convenient location.

The mission statement of CPM Federal Credit Union is “To always seek to exceed the expectations of its members”. There are currently 27 member companies located in the Easley area. George Lockwood, President and CEO of CPM FCU and the Board of directors believe that by opening this location it will better service the members of Easley.

The Groundbreaking Ceremony was held at 6501 Calhoun Memorial Highway, the address of the new branch. In attendance were George Lockwood, President and CEO of CPM Federal Credit Union and Garry L. Parks, President and CEO of the South Carolina Credit Union League. On behalf of the City of Easley Mayor Larry D. Bagwell and Kent Dykes, President of the Greater Easley Chamber of Commerce both spoke at the ceremony.

In honor of his service to CPM Federal Credit Union and its members, George Lockwood announced CPM Federals’ plan to dedicate this branch to Russell Easterling, former President and CEO.
