March 2008 3rd Thursday Lunch, Dr. B. J. Skelton & Dr. Lee D’Andrea
The Greater Easley Chamber of Commerce held the 3rd Thursday Luncheon on March 20, 2008, at the Kimberly Hampton Library in Easley. The guest speakers were Dr. B. J. Skelton, Chairman of the School District of Pickens County Board of Trustees, and Dr. Lee D’Andrea, Superintendent of the School District of Pickens County. Speaking to a capacity gathering, Dr. D’Andrea discussed the plans for all the new schools in Pickens County and showed the engineered drawings for the new Easley High School and answered questions from the audience.
Next month’s 3rd Thursday Luncheon will be held April 17 at the Kimberly Hampton Library and will feature former NFL coach & player Sam Wyche and the guest speaker.
