The Greater Easley Chamber of Commerce held “Business after Hours” hosted by The Greenville News Pickens County Edition on Thursday evening September 6, 2007, at Serendipity Cafe’ in downtown Easley. A large group of over 100 members of the chamber and guests enjoyed delicious food, prepared by Serendipity Cafe’, and met representatives from the Greenville News.
Publisher Steve Brandt of the Greenville News talked to the group about the Chamber Notes entry into the Pickens County News published and distributed by The Greenville News the first Tuesday each month. The Pickens County News is celebrating its first anniversary this week and is delivered to approximately 50,000 homes each week.
Next month’s Business After Hours will be held October 11th at Dixie Lumber Company.
