September will be special for the recognition of the South Carolina legislators in our area who contributed toward the 2007 competitive agenda of the chambers of commerce. State Senator Larry Martin, representing Pickens County and State Representative Rex Rice, representing Easley and part of Greenville County will update the Easley Chamber of Commerce members on the past years legislation that affect businesses.

The luncheon meeting will be held at the Kimberly Hampton Memorial Library on September 20 beginning at 12:00 noon. “Taste of Distinction” catering will provide the excellent buffet lunch for this monthly event. The Powdersville Council of the Easley Chamber of Commerce will hear State Representative Dan Cooper, representing Powdersville and Anderson County.
