DunBurks Premier Events Joins Easley Chamber

DunBurks Premier Events officially celebrated their grand opening with a Ribbon Cutting ceremony in Old Downtown Easley on Friday, August 17th. According to co-owners Rhonda Duncan and Scott Bork, they identified the need for an upscale events location after repeated conversations with consumers and business owners in Pickens County area. Scott Bork states, “Our goal was to create something in the downtown TIFF district where we could be part of the Easley revitalization project.” As an Easley native and graduate of the EHS class of 1976, Rhonda is excited about the growth and development that is taking place in our town.

Located at 110 South Pendleton Street, DunBurks is a unique location offering an old world – yet elegant setting. With its Tuscany decor, original building restoration, ample free parking, and an extensive menu they are able to deliver exceptional service for any level of client. According to Rhonda, “When it comes to bridal and wedding festivities, we understand this is one of the most exciting times in the wedding couple’s lives. From the engagement announcement to the wedding reception all of the celebrations should be fabulous and memorable. We want to make the events absolutely perfect, and at the same time, reduce the stress of the details. The attention needs to be on the couple, not work preparing the event – that’s where we come in.”

Scott Bork, who has owned businesses in Texas and North Carolina, brings to DunBurks a wealth of knowledge for the Pickens County business population. He commented on the opportunities to create a business or corporate environment which can host executive retreats, business luncheons, education seminars or product development sessions in a private comfortable setting.

Scott Buckhiester, General Manager, states how well DunBurks has been received since its general opening in May of this year. “We have already hosted wedding luncheons, corporate meetings, baby showers, and a music festival. The feedback from our customers has been excellent especially from the business clients who have had the opportunity to utilize the state-of-the-art sound system and the 10 foot projection screen.”
