Foothills Child Development Center Joins Easley Chamber
Foothills Child Development Center is bringing something unique and very exciting to the Easley-Powdersville area. We will be opening our doors for business on August 13, 2007. We are located at 40 Southern Center on Highway 123 across from McKinney Dodge and above the Outback Steakhouse.
Foothills Child Development Center is a 12,000 square foot “state of the art” Child Development Center. We will accommodate children ages 6 weeks to 5 years, with an after school program that serves the local elementary schools. Our hours of operation will be 6:30AM to 6:30PM. The facility is bright, cheerful, and colorful with the most modern equipment available in each classroom. The Technology Room has computers, music, listening centers, and a large screen and projector. This is a totally round classroom with enough space available for many indoor physical activities. The full size cafeteria will serve the children a nutritious breakfast, lunch, morning and afternoon snack. There are three playgrounds available to the children with music panels, sandbox play, bike paths, and large playground structures. To ensure the safety of all children and adults, we have installed a key pad on the front door which allows parents access anytime during the day.
Learning to work and play well with others is a lifelong goal with a foundation in the Early Childhood years. With this in mind, the staff has been carefully chosen for their education and experience in Early Child Development. The curriculum will be implemented with investigation of materials, problem solving, and exploration. Daily teeth brushing will be a part of the curriculum as well as Family Style Dining, which will enhance social and language skills.
Please come and join us for our Grand Opening Celebration Thursday, August 9, 5:00PM to 8:00PM and Saturday August 11, 10:00AM until 1:00PM.
