Grand Opening Celebration for 605 West Main Street “Easley’s own Bed and Breakfast”
Lynda Tompkins Manning, who recently bought & renovated 605 West Main Street, was born and raised in Easley and after 25 years has moved back home to 605 West Main Street. Lynda attended Northside Elementary School and graduated from Easley High School then moved to Charleston to pursue a career as a surgical technician. After many years in the nursing field, she became a district manager for a national company. Her two sons, Adam and Seth Wylie, still live in the area along with their families.
After buying a piece of chicken at Dodge’s, she and her friend Charlie, decided to go up on the hill and eat the chicken while touring 605 West Main Street. She walked in the kitchen and turned left into the hallway and knew immediately that the house was calling her name. By the end of the day, she made plans to secure the property for herself. 605 West Main Street is a 110 year old home that was built by the Robinson brothers who were affiliated with the railroad. It is now opened for business for exclusive outdoor tropical weddings, receptions, luncheons, reunions, special events and Bed and Breakfast.
