The Greater Easley Chamber of Commerce held the Powdersville Luncheon on Thursday, April 26, 2007, at Marathon Church in Powdersville. The featured speaker was Heather Jones, Director of Anderson County Economic Development.

Ms. Jones gave an overview of the economic development in Anderson County to recruit, create, and support new industry, as well as provide support to existing businesses. Handouts were passed out to further illustrate.

Next month’s speaker will be Rocky Nimmons, Publisher of the Powdersville Post, on Thursday, May 24, 2007.
