Easley’s 2nd Annual Spring Family Fun Fest, April 1st, 2007, from 2pm to 4pm

The City of Easley is excited to announce the 2nd Annual Spring Family Fun Fest to be held April 1st, 2007 at the JB “Red” Owens Recreation Complex, from 2pm to 4pm. This event is co-sponsored by several local businesses, churches and organizations in order to provide a day of fun for the entire family, as well as, to continue to establish this event as a new tradition for the community of Easley and surrounding area.

2007 Spring Fling

The festivities will begin at 2:00pm and last until 4:00pm, including: “egg scrambles”, egg hunts, face painting, music, games for all ages, inflatable, food and much more! All Egg Hunts or the Egg Scramble will begin at 2:15pm. All other games and activities will begin at 2:00pm and continue after the egg hunts. Every egg includes a small prize and some lucky kids will find “special prize eggs”.

In the event of rain, the festivities will be moved inside the Larry D. Bagwell Gymnasium. In that case, the egg hunts will have to be changed to “egg scrambles”, a timed event in which the goal is to collect as many eggs in the given time, and will have to be scheduled separately according to the age groups.

Everyone is invited to come out with their friends and family to celebrate the beginning of spring with this day of fun for all ages! No outside food or drinks are allowed. All children must be accompanied by an adult.  For further information, please call or email, Brantli J Owens at 855-7933.  She is the City of Easley Events Director.
