Easley Chamber of Commerce’s Business of the Month Outback Steakhouse

The board of directors of the Easley Chamber of Commerce has selected Outback Steakhouse as the business of the month for February. Some of the things that Outback has done this past year have been:
1.Hosted the dinner for the 2006 Chamber golf tournament and will again host the 2007 tournament May 7
2.Hosted the dinner for the Easley Fire department, Easley Police department, and the Pickens Sheriff’s department golf tournament
3.Sponsors the free dinner for the Easley Fire department and the Police department’s Employee of the Month
4.Hosted the 2006 “State of the City” address by Mayor Christopherson and will host this address for 2007 on February 15
5.Raised $25,000 for the Issac Clary foundation.
6.Raised $20,000 for the Fellowship for Christian Athletic at Clemson University.
7.Raised $6,000 for the Easley Playhouse at the James Gregory presentation.
“Under the leadership of General Manager Gary Durkee, Outback has contributed much to Easley and the chamber,” stated Kent Dykes, President of the Chamber.
