The Manufacturer’s Luncheon given by the Greater Easley Chamber of Commerce and sponsored by Easley Combined Utilities was held on Wednesday, December 6, 2006, at Smithfield’s Country Club. Twenty-six owners and representatives of manufacturing companies throughout Pickens County were in attendance networking and listening to issues discussed that directly impact their businesses.
The speaker for the event was Drew Medlyn, manager of Greenville Chamber of Commerce’s manufacturing group. Drew spoke on South Carolina’s Council on Competitiveness and South Carolina’s Long-Term Economic Strategy.
The next quarterly held Manufacturer’s Luncheon will be March 7, 2007, hosted by Easley Custom Plastics.
