Congressman Gresham Barrett Visits Easley Chamber

Congressman Gresham Barrett visited the Great Easley Chamber of Commerce on December 13 and met with twenty-seven representatives from the board of directors and chamber ambassadors as well as the 2006 businesses of the month. Congressman Barrett spoke to the group about economic development, education, trade, war in Iraq, and what will be on the agenda in Washington in 2007. He also elaborated who were front-runners in the Presidential election in 2008.

He answered many questions from the chamber members in attendance. “I enjoyed my visit to Easley and want to come back to the chamber and speak again to business people,” stated Congressman Barrett.
