The Greater Easley Chamber of Commerce held its 4th Thursday luncheon in Powdersville at Marathon Community Church on October 26, 2006. The guest speaker was Cliff Caldwell, MD of LivingWell Integrative Healthcare.

Senior Airman Alex Hooper, a guest at the luncheon, is home for one week with his parents Joe and Doris Hooper who are the owners of Taste of Distinction. Alex has been in Okinawa Japan for two years and also has been five months in Iraq. Appreciation was given to Airman Hooper for his service to our country.
