The Easley Chamber of Commerce held its 3rd Thursday lunch meeting October 19, 2006, at the Kimberly Hampton Library. Guest speakers for the event were Senator Larry Martin and SC Rep. Phil Owens. Senator Martin and Rep Owens discussed current issues affecting the economy of our county, the upcoming election and its importance and Rep Owens explained the amendments that the voters will be asked to vote on November 7th. A question and answer period followed.
