Café Fritz

Café Fritz Joins Easley Chamber

Café Fritz, the new German restaurant located at 7009 Calhoun Memorial Hwy in Easley cut its ceremonial ribbon on Wednesday, October 11, 2006. Annette Rivers, owner, chef and president of Twin Rivers Tea Co., has cooked and taught culinary arts classes in Greenville for many years. She was also recently featured on Channel 16 on the Peggy Denny Show.

The restaurant offers food from Annette’s native Bavaria, one of the states in Germany. With a varied menu ranging from bratwurst to Vienna-style schnitzel, including sauerbraten, red cabbage with apples, and potato pancakes, and many other items, Café Fritz provides Easley with a special and unique experience. Prices range from $2.95 for the restaurant’s own soups to $12.95 for entrees like rouladen or jaegerschnitzel (with mushroom gravy). Chicken cordon bleu sandwiches, reuben sandwiches, burgers, Berlin-style liver with onions and apples, a variety of sausages and other tasty dishes like potato salad and sauerkraut are truly delicious.

Additionally, Café Fritz offers a full range of catering services, in almost any style from local meat and vegetable favorites to breakfasts, hot and cold buffets, luncheons, receptions, showers, and church suppers. Whole cakes like a mocha buttercream, plumcake, raspberry buttercream and chocolate cheesecake have been particular favorites so far.

The restaurant is open Tuesday through Saturday from 11 to 9. Catering services are available at the restaurant or at a location of your choice.
