Easley Chamber Holds Ribbon Cutting at Kudzu Staffing in Powdersville

The Easley Chamber of Commerce held a Ribbon Cutting ceremony at Kudzu Staffing in Powdersville on Thursday, September 14, 2006.

Kudzu Staffing began its “climb” on May 1st, 2006. They are located behind Foothills Motorsports on Highway 153 in Powdersville. Sean Thornton (sean@kudzustaffing.com) and Will Jones (will@kudzustaffing.com) are the owners of Kudzu Staffing. Kudzu Staffing’s growth all began after a round of golf between Sean, Will, and some other friends. They are both natives of Easley and are very excited about the economic boom going on in Pickens County.

Sean and Will are positioning their company as an outsourcing organization that can handle everything from benefits administration to recruiting to payroll administration. Kudzu has prided itself on being very attentive to each customer’s specific needs. Bobby Mauldin of B & L Mechanical says he enjoys using Kudzu Staffing because, “They have excellent customer service skills and their attention to detail has helped our company succeed.”

Kudzu Staffing, Inc. has recently added Jaime Fincannon to the team as Office Manager. She brings a great deal of accounting and customer service skills to their organization.

The name “Kudzu”, in case you were wondering, stuck from the start with Will and Sean because it spreads, grows, climbs, covers, and is very hard to stop.
