Easley Custom Plastics Chosen Business of the Month for August 2006

The Easley Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors has chosen Easley Custom Plastics as the Business of the Month for August. They were selected because of recent awards from the South Carolina Chamber of Commerce and Alliance Pickens.

From the SC Chamber of Commerce, The Manufacturer of the Year awards are in recognition of the enormous impact that successful manufacturing companies have on the South Carolina economy. In consideration of possible recipients for the award, the Chamber examines the overall performance of the company, including the work culture as well as local community involvement ECP was singled out in the small manufacturing category.

Alliance Pickens is a public/private economic development organization whose primary mission is to attract, retain and increase the number of jobs and increase the tax base in Pickens County. At their Industry Appreciation Event, ECP was recognized for its economic achievements and community involvement in Pickens County. As the first recipient of the award, ECP was presented with the traveling trophy, known as the “Chucky Award”.

“The only way this type of recognition is achieved is through the combined efforts of all the Associates at ECP”, said Craig Homan, CEO. “We are very proud of all our people for their dedicated service and commitment to making Easley Customs Plastics a great place to work.”
