Youngblood Development Corp chosen Business of the Month

The Greater Easley Chamber of Commerce selected Youngblood Development Corporation to be Business of the Month for May.

Youngblood Development was started by Danny Youngblood in 1983. The company specializes in residential and commercial real estate. Danny started working in real estate with his father in 1977. He has spent most of his life in real estate, starting out by doing odd jobs on new houses built by his father and grandfather.

The company is made up of a staff of seven—Danny Youngblood, Jay Ratterree, Tom Smith, Daniel Youngblood Jr, Kris Blalock, Lia Youngblood, Marie Cunningham, and Edith Bryson.

Jay Ratterree came on board in February 2006 as the Chief Operating Officer. Jay states, “The invitation to join the Youngblood team was a once in a lifetime opportunity. Easley is a wonderful place to live and, coupled with the surrounding communities, holds great potential for many years to come. I am looking forward to making a positive contribution to the development in our area.”

Youngblood Development Corp has developed over 30 residential communities in Upstate, SC. Below is a list of the most recent residential developments:

Youngblood Development is currently working on two new commercial projects. We have 8 acres across from Wal-Mart in Central that we are planning on developing to bring in National tenants.

We are also developing a strip center behind the new CommunitySouth Bank in Easley off of Highway 123, which will consist of two 7,500 square foot buildings of retail rental space.
