BuyNearBy.biz celebrated its grand opening and joined the Greater Easley Chamber of Commerce in April 2006. BuyNearBy.biz was founded by April Hendricks and receives support from her husband, Tommy, and Christy Galloway.

BuyNearBy.biz is a new and innovative website and free weekly e-newsletter that features local restaurants, retailers, events, service providers, entertainment and more! The BuyNearBy.biz website and e-newsletter will include valuable coupons from local businesses and inform local residents about businesses in the area all of which is free.

Through April’s involvement in the community and her research and experience, she determined that people living in Pickens County and surrounding areas are eager to shop and support the local economy and businesses; however, they lack a consistent, convenient method for finding out about local retailers, restaurants, service providers, entertainment, events and other information of interest from the area. April created BuyNearBy.biz as a solution. Her goals are to share local information with the community via BuyNearBy.biz e-newsletter, communicate with local businesses to deliver information based on the business owners’ needs to reach customers in the area, and to provide services in a professional manner that earns the trust and satisfaction of customers.
