Livingwell Integrative Healthcare Ribbon Cutting

The Greater Easley Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting ceremony Wednesday, January 18, 2006, at Livingwell Integrative Healthcarelocated at 838 Powdersville Road, Suite G, in Easley.

Livingwell Integrative Healthcare is a new concept in the healthcare arena. While most medical practitioners are focusing on disease care, we are truly focusing on healthcare.

Many of you may know Clif Caldwell, M.D. as one of the ER doctors at Cannon Memorial Hospital, but what you may not know is that he has been studying bio-identical hormone replacement therapy (BHRT) for over 7 years. Bio-identical HRT (Hormone Replacement Therapy) is the use of hormones that are identical to the ones your body makes (or used to make), and replacement back to a balanced youthful level. Dr. Caldwell has a special interest in anti-aging medicine which is the application of any therapy that delivers very early detection, prevention, treatment, or reversal of aging-related dysfunction and disease.

Cheryl Middleton, P.A.-C has been in family practice for 19 years and in the Easley area for over 4. Over the past several years, she has developed a keen interest in a more natural approach to medicine. Cheryl has participated in conferences on bio-identical HRT to learn about cutting edge approaches to help both men and women in their struggles toward a healthier lifestyle. She also integrates nutrition and nutraceuticals (vitamins and supplements) in the treatment of common conditions such as obesity, diabetes, high blood pressure, inflammation and elevated cholesterol.

Clif and Cheryl are excited about the opportunity to bring this new approach to healthcare to the people of Easley, Powdersville, Pickens and surrounding areas. We look forward to helping patients help themselves. Their phone is 850-9988 and e-mail is livingwellinterg@bellsouth.net.
